Hawaii Intergenerational Network (HIN) in partnership with Ohana English Preschools (OEP) has launched a service opportunity for seniors. We are sending senior volunteers from Hawaii to Yokohama, Japan... 2006 - 2007 CALENDAR August 2-5, 2006: Uniting the Generations: Japan Conference to Promote Intergenerational Programs and Practices As a sign of the coming of age of the intergenerational field in Japan, a major international conference will be held at Waseda University in Tokyo. The conference is being organized by the Japan Intergenerational Unity Association (JIUA) in conjunction with Penn State University, and over 20 partnering organizations and agencies in Japan.
